All courses will make use of live fire whenever feasible, however the Counter Drone Trainer with various laser options supporting jamming, shotgun, and rifle to allow for a safe, simulation-based way to train in a realistic environment.

Aerial Moving Target Engagement Course
aka “The Moving Target Gallery”
Overview: An escalating skills development training course that combines multiple integrated systems and live fire range activity, to provide opportunities to learn and master the fundamentals of aerial target engagement using whatever countermeasures are available to the unit. Objectives: The overall objective is to develop rapid and accurate decision-making regarding weapon selection and engagement method in response to commonly demonstrated enemy drone flight behaviors.

Participants engage with a range of moving targets in a live-fire gallery with a wide range of live weapons
02.
DEFENDING A STRUCTURE (Base defense)
Objective: A course addressing both team and individual skills development to address several challenges within a defense in depth.. Plan and setup passive defense measures and sectors of fire, then engage incoming aerial and terrestrial threat targets using whatever weapons and systems are at the unit’s disposal.
option: ask IPC if you require systems as part of your training package.

eLECTRONIC WARFARE WORKSHOP
This facilitation-based course provides specialized personnel with frequent opportunities to train larger units to detect incoming drones and handle downed systems (aka IEDs). Vendor’s input to this course is proactive support of targets, props, learning methods and data collection.

VEHICLE INTEGRATION & CONVOYS
Convoys are common across the forces. They are also commonly featured in attack videos posted from the conflict in Ukraine. Using the Counter Drone Trainer system, gunners and other convoy security personnel can safely train in realistic environments; outside. For single vehicle scenarios live fire and CDT options are available.
A course addressing the unique defensive tactics required for vehicles and convoys under drone attack. Plan and execute a convoy while reacting to predicted and unpredicted threats along the route.

Standards Based Course for Tactical Employment of Small UAS
Course designed to go beyond the basics associated with manufacturer training. Can be customized to fit any mission, the course sets performance standards for fundamental mission tasks such as maneuvering through obstacles, providing overwatch support, and entering doors and windows.

Drone Hunt Drone
This course is designed to build capability within your blue team pilots. Whether hunting is done with nets or shotguns or whatever else, IPC red cell services and drones provide the opportunity to defeat actual drones.

ESCALATING SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
All IPC courses have 3 attributes. They all run on data, they integrate multiple complementary training systems for greater effectiveness, and they include educational design methods such as escalations and competition. The method behind this graphic shown provides participants with multiple stations, each designed to develop an enabling learning objective.
For example: a unit might break their personnel into 2 halves, one group working on fundamentals and position (stance, grip, aim) at ceiling mounted targets while the other half works outside as individuals or teams against the Counter Drone Trainer. Then the groups rotate so each group is allowed to benefit from these simulation based systems. Next would be live fire. For feasibility, balloons and clays provide cheap surrogates for real drones. After master engaging these targets, participants are ready to make maximum learning value from encounters against real drones.
